The Story of Metal John

The birth of Metal John came years ago when he was an intern for NextMedia and would show up every day in Black Jeans and Pantera shirts. He was given the name Metal John by the one and only Lonny Tyler. Then, after months of taking out the trash and sending faxes for free, he was offered a job on WILL Rock (R.I.P.). And now he works Saturday Mornings and Sunday nights on RXQ.

When Metal John is  not playing the Southlands Classic rock  he is sometimes found on the AM dial talking Sports on our Sister Station. Or stalking Scarlett Johansson!
